Mills Action Club (M.A.C.)

WHAT is Mills Action Club (M.A.C.)? A group whose members are committed to promoting the welfare of Mills students and teachers by providing the necessary means for a positive learning environment.

M.A.C. Sponsors the following:

  1. Art Program - a committee whose responsibility is to order and stock art supplies for teachers to use in the classroom.

  2. Hospitality - a committee whose purpose is to decorate and serve at special functions.

  3. Outdoor Classroom - established and funded by M.A.C. as an alternative instructional environment.

  4. Publicity - promotes Mills through articles and photos which may be submitted for local publications. Informs parents and staff about M.A.C. through memos and a monthly newsletter.

  5. Box Tops

Fundraising

  1. Major Fundraisers - selected and planned for the purpose of making improvements to classrooms and the school environment as a whole. Our current emphasis is to increase the use of technology in the school

  2. Membership Dues - applied to the general budget to be used to benefit our children.

  3. Popcorn - M.A.C. volunteers devote many hours to making popcorn on Fridays as a healthy treat for our children.

Who Can Join M.A.C.?

Any parent, grandparent, teacher, or staff member who would like to be involved and will support the objectives and policies of M.A.C.
