WHAT is Mills Action Club? (M.A.C.)
A group whose members are committed to promoting the welfare of Mills students and teachers by providing the necessary means for a positive learning environment.
M.A.C. sponsors the following:
Any parent, grandparent, teacher, or staff member who would like to be involved and will support the objectives and policies of M.A.C.
M.A.C. sponsors the following:
- ART PROGRAM - a committee whose responsibility is to order and stock art supplies for teachers to use in the classroom.
- HOSPITALITY - a committee whose purpose is to decorate and serve at special functions.
- OUTDOOR CLASSROOM - established and funded by M.A.C. as an alternative instructional environment.
- PUBLICITY - promotes Mills through articles and photos which may be submitted for local publications. Informs parents and staff about M.A.C. through memos and a monthly newsletter.
- BOX TOPS
- MAJOR FUNDRAISERS - selected and planned for the purpose of making improvements to classrooms and the school environment as a whole. Our current emphasis is to increase the use of technology in the school
- MEMBERSHIP DUES - applied to the general budget to be used to benefit our children.
- POPCORN - M.A.C. volunteers devote many hours making popcorn on Fridays as a healthy treat for our children.
